Mobile stations are required to give an updated location each time they report severe weather. All participating stations must notify the Net Control if they leave the frequency.”
“This is [Your Callsign], Net Control. I will now standby for any trained spotters on frequency wishing to check into this net for the purpose of reporting severe weather from their location. Participating spotters please check into the net listing your callsign, location, and your status as either fixed or mobile. Please break your transmission after calling Net Control to ensure you are not doubling with another station, please call [Your Callsign], Net Control, at this time”.
