Manitowoc Ham Radio
Come join other club members at the Manitowoc County Airport on Sunday, July 20, 2025 from 11am to 4pm and enjoy watching flight operations over Manitowoc Airport. We will have a small set up on hand to bring awareness to amateur radio and LARSC. We will also be monitoring the Air Bands to listen to the pilots and Air Traffic Control.
LARSC, Inc will be staffing a table display by the Manitowoc Mobile Command Post to promote amateur radio and ARES/RACES contributions to public safety. We will have handouts with information on amateur radio, ARES/RACES, and how citizens can prepare for emergencies. We will also have 2-3 radio stations, antennas and handhelds on display for citizens to see first hand how amateur radio functions. We'd also like to set up a live FT8 display, and possibly our FlexRadio remote capabilities. Please clear your calendar and come help support your club and community.
